Pearson Test of English Academics (PTE Academics) is an international computer-based English language test. It provides a measure of test takers’ language ability to education institutions, and professional and government organizations that require a standard of academic English for admission purposes.

The purpose of Pearson Test of English Academic is to accurately assess the listening, reading, speaking and writing ability of test takers who want to study at institution where English is the principal language of instruction.

    1. Schedule your test on nearest test center and choose the suitable test date.

Test Day Information:

    • Bring valid Passport to test center on test day.
    • Show your passport and sign in digitally.
    • Get your digital photograph taken.
    • Scan your palm digitally.
    • You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your test starting time to go through the check-in and security processes.
    • No edible is allowed within test center.
    • Candidates aren’t allowed to bring cell phone, any electronic devices and bags in the test center.
    • Stationary and pages will be provided by the test center to perform the exam.

Test Results:

PTE Academic Test scores are reported in a score scale of 10 to 90 that is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference. The table below shows which PTE Academic scores predict the likelihood of you performing successfully on the easiest, average and most difficult tasks within CEFR levels A2 to C2.
