CELT-S Certificate in English Language Teaching-Secondary
CELT–P is Cambridge English Teaching Qualification for English language teachers working in primary education (6-12 year olds). and CELT S is for English language teachers working in secondary education (11-18 years olds).
These Cambridge teaching qualifications help teachers learn how to improve their classroom performance through blended learning and teaching practices.
It provides English language teachers the opportunity to build and refresh their skills and knowledge, to get the best from their students.
It will give teachers the confidence and skills for:
- implementing the curriculum successfully
- applying their learning to classroom situations
- improving teaching in classrooms.

Module 8 – Assessing language learning in the primary context
Module 9 – Language awareness for teaching
CELT S has 8 modules that are:
Module 1 – Classroom management in the secondary classroom
Module 2 – Language learning and the teenage learner
Module 3 – Teaching language skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) in the secondary classroom
Module 4 – Language awareness for teaching
Module 5 – Teaching language (grammar, lexis and phonology) in the secondary classroom
Module 6 – Planning language learning (lessons and courses) in the secondary classroom
Module 7 – Language learning resources and materials for the secondary classroom
Module 8 – Assessing language learning in the secondary context
